Meaningful Connections Counseling, PLC
You deserve to be heard in a non-judgmental environment regardless of your life journey and the stressors that you may currently be facing. Despite what challenge it is that you currently face, there is a road map to improving your life satisfaction. Life can feel overwhelming at times and counseling can help to provide a space to help each individual self-navigate those situations and learn coping skills for when future stressors arise.
My name is Hope Welch and I am currently an intern from Western Michigan University with graduation approaching in just a few short months. I have a current Master’s in Psychology through Capella University and will be obtaining my Master’s in Counselor Education with a focus on Clinical Mental Health through Western Michigan University. After graduation, I will be a Limited License Professional Counselor with the state of Michigan as well as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Besides a strong focus on client centered therapy, I have received specific trainings in substance use, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and suicide. I enjoy working with individuals in all walks of life but particularly resonate with adolescent and young adult issues. My goal as a counselor is to provide the safe space that is necessary for self-regulation and improvement by using the techniques and guidance appropriate for each individual person.
I am available either in person or telehealth and offer services to individuals regardless of age and insurance (sliding scale, copay only, or free of charge for certain situations).
