Hello! My name is Becca Rustenholtz, and I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and a Limited Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education: Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from Western Michigan University.
As a counselor, I believe in a person-centered approach to therapy and consider my clients the experts on their own lives. I view counseling as a collaborative process where I offer my clients support and guidance as we explore together the concerns that brought them to counseling. I provide all of my clients a safe, nonjudgmental space to share their stories and ensure that they feel heard, accepted, and respected in the counseling setting. I also recognize that each client is unique, and I am committed to meeting individuals where they are throughout the counseling process. My goal is to help my clients better manage their lives and support them on their journey toward growth and change. I work mostly with children (ages 8-12) and adolescents (ages 13-18), but I have experience working with young adults (ages 19-25) as well. My specialty areas include anxiety, anger, stress and time management, self-esteem, and depression.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cats, watching UofM football, reading, traveling Michigan, and listening to music.
If you feel that I am the right fit and you are ready to make a change, please contact me to schedule an appointment. I look forward to working with you!
