Welcome! I specialize in working with adults on issues such as: anxiety, depression, career stress including first responder and health care workers, identity exploration, self-harm, self-esteem issues, relational problems, trauma, and substance use issues, but I am happy to work with you on a range of concerns. I graduated from Valparaiso University with a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Western Michigan University. My previous experience includes working with survivors of domestic violence, substance use issues and recovery, severe mental health, career counseling, and trauma work. I am also trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Counseling and have experience and training working with relationships, including LGBTQ+ folx and poly and consensually nonmonogamous relationships. My approach is to create an empathetic and non-judgemental space where we collaboratively work towards your goals. I have a personal and professional commitment to serving, celebrating, and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion. I hope to work with you towards greater self-discovery and growth. Please note that I am only offering telehealth (via Zoom) appointments at this time.
