As a counselor I believe that being authentically true to oneself is a requirement for achieving wellness and harmony. However, as a non-binary neurodivergent counselor, I know that the world is quick to judge anyone who doesn't fall within the narrow bounds of what they consider to be "normal". I work with clients to help them better understand their own unique identities and help them work through the challenges that may arise in doing so.
I am nearing the end of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Western Michigan University. I’ve had training in suicide prevention, and I have lived experience with chronic pain, weight management, and ADHD. If you are seeking a counselor who is both neurodivergent affirming and LGBT+ affirming then please contact me here to schedule an appointment.
