Kaley Ford-Master's Level Counseling Intern

Taking the first step when trying something new is always the hardest part. Entering a counseling relationship is no different. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable exploring what brought you in to counseling so you may begin to live the life that you want to!

I am a graduate student at Western Michigan University studying Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy and am in my last year of the program. I have lived in the Kalamazoo area my entire life and pride myself in being knowledgeable about resources in the community. I am open to working with individuals, families, and children from all walks of life. Throughout my career I have gained extensive experience working with children, teens, and their families who are struggling with mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, conduct disorders, and more. I am also comfortable working with survivors of physical and sexual abuse as well as other traumas. In addition to this, I have experience working with families and their children who are having issues at school, who are involved with the court system, and families who are experiencing homelessness.

Please reach out if you are interested in working with me. I hope to hear from you soon!
